Information for Parents
The Four Seasons Club provides Ofsted approved professional care for School-age children attending Dodford First School. The Club is operated by the experienced team at School House Private Day Nursery, which has been operating for nearly 20 years and has been recently awarded a ‘Outstanding in all Areas’ grading by Ofsted an accolade strived for by every childcare and educational setting in the UK.
Included in the fees charged are drinks, snacks and ‘Special Interest’ clubs and activities each term.
More substantial meals are available to book as an additional service.
Age of Children for Admission
Provision is made for the care of school age children (up to eight years) in the Four Seasons Club. This takes place before and after school and during the school holidays at Dodford First School.
Hours of Opening
Out School Care is available from 7.30am – 8.30am and 3.15pm - 6.00pm each day during term time, five days a week, Monday to Friday.
A range of hours can be negotiated within these times to accommodate you and your child’s needs. Please refer to our separate tariff sheet for details of this.
Children are escorted at all times to and from Dodford First School.
During school holidays, we offer a Holiday Club, the details of which are produced seasonally and are available to all local children (please see information for forthcoming holiday clubs on this web page)
Staff
The Four Seasons Out of School Care is staffed in accordance with the regulations specified by Ofsted, i.e. a staff to child ratio of: 1:8 for children aged 3 to 8 years
Meal and Refreshments
All children are offered a drink and snack whilst being cared for. Children attending Out of School care have the provision to book a more substantial ‘Tea’ if required, provided by the Nursery caterers.
At 7:30am until 8:15am breakfast will be served to all children in attendance.
At 3.15pm all children are offered a drink and a snack
At 4.30pm a more substantial tea will be served if booked
Drinks and snacks are available throughout the club hours
Special Interest Clubs
These are available to all children attending the Four Seasons Club and are fully inclusive in the fees charged, These optional clubs are designed to offer the children a cross section of interests and involvement. See the separate link on this web page to see what activities are running this Term.
Registration for Four Seasons Out of School Care
If your child is not already registered with the Four Seasons Club and you would like to them to be, please complete the separate application form or speak to a senior member of the Four Seasons Team who are available in Dodford School Hall from 3:15pm during term time.
